Stewart F. Gross

Stewart lived and worked primarily in New York City, NY, from 1995 through 2006. Stewart was employed as an attorney for some of the largest insurance defense firms in New York City, focusing on general liability and medical malpractice. Stewart also represented some of the largest restaurant corporations and hotels in New York.
In the fall of 2006, Stewart moved to the Valley of the Sun. Within a month of the Arizona move, Stewart joined the firm of Cheifetz, Iannitelli, and Marcolini (“CIM”) where he worked for approximately five years. During his tenure at the Cheifetz firm, Stewart's unwavering commitment and expertise yielded top results on a serious personal injury case, in which he obtained one of the largest settlements against the City of Phoenix in over a decade.
As an Associate at CIM, Stewart handled commercial litigation, collections, and homeowners association cases. In one of his homeowners association cases, Stewart successfully prevented his elderly clients from being forced into a mandatory homeowners association, which was previously a voluntary association for decades. This homeowners association case led to two reported Court of Appeals decisions, which are frequently cited in other cases throughout the nation.
In 2011, Stewart opened a successful solo practice emphasizing in plaintiff's personal injury law, commercial litigation, and homeowners association law. As a solo practitioner and a shareholder at the firm, Wong & Carter, P.C., Stewart settled millions of dollars in personal injury claims for his clients. He also successfully prosecuted and defended numerous commercial cases for his clients.
Mr. Gross currently lives in Phoenix. He's not just a legal geek who's a licensed member of the State Bar of Arizona. He also enjoys local sports, good cinema, music, live theater, and playing disc golf. He has also previously performed as a standup comedian in New York City and the Valley. You can currently see him perform improv comedy in Phoenix, Arizona.
